역사

유대인 연방 평의회

연합을 위한 최초의 하부조직은 1932년 결성된 유대인 연합 및 복지 기금 국가 협의회였다.[7][8] '국민'은 1935년에 명칭에서 삭제되었고, '복지기금'은 1979년에 삭제되었다.[7]

북아메리카 유대인 연방

1999년 CJF는 U.S.유대인 어필과 합병하여 U.S.유대인 공동체가 되었다.[7] 2009년 10월, UJC는 북아메리카의 유대인 연방으로 이름이 바뀌었다.[9]

2009년 북아메리카 유대인 연맹의 새로운 로고가 출시된 이후, 점점 더 많은 수의 지역 연맹들이 그 로고의 어떤 변형으로 바뀌고 있다. 그 예가 유대인 대 워싱턴 연방이다.[10]

제리 실버먼 신임 CEO는 2010년 2월 몇 년간 하위 직원 해고를 겪은 뒤 수석 부사장 3명을 해고해 75만 달러에서 100만 달러로 추산됐다.[11] JFNA는 2010년 10년마다 실시되는 국가 유대인 인구 조사를 재선정한다는 이유로 거부했다.[12]

2021년에는 5천4백만 달러 규모의 라이브시큐어 캠페인을 발표했는데, 이를 역사상 북미 유대인 공동체를 확보하기 위한 최대 캠페인이라고 표현했다.[13][14]

국가유대인구조사

미국 유대인 인구조사(NJPS)는 JFNA가 미국 유대인 공동체의 인구조사로 시행한 십년제 조사였다. NJPS는 때때로 논란이 되어왔다. 1990년 조사는 52퍼센트의 비율의 종교간 결혼이 일어나고 있다는 것을 보여주었는데, 이것은 인구통계학자들의 비난을 받았다. NJPS 2000-01에서는 1990년과는 다른 방법을 사용했기 때문에 비교가 안 되고 600만 달러의 비용이 들며 데이터가 손실되는 등 여러 문제가 이번 조사를 괴롭혔다.
