UVA 아동 병원(UVA Children's Hospital)은 미국 버지니아주 샬러츠빌에 위치한 급성기 치료 어린이 병원입니다. 버지니아 대학교 의과대학에 소속되어 있습니다.[1] 병원에는 112개의 소아과 침대가 있습니다.[2] 병원은 지역 전역의 0~21세 유아, 어린이, 청소년 및 청년에게 종합 소아과 전문 및 하위 전문을 제공합니다.[3][4][5] 병원은 또한 소아과 치료가 필요한 성인을 치료하기도 합니다.[6] 병원에는 중요한 소아 환자를 이송할 수 있는 옥상 헬리콥터 패드가 있습니다. 병원에는 지역 소아 중환자실과 레벨 IV 신생아 중환자실이 있습니다.[7]

역사

2011년에는 배리와 빌 배틀의 이름을 딴 배틀 빌딩이라는 새로운 외래 환자 센터가 문을 열었습니다. 이 건물은 2014년에 스탠리 비먼 앤 시어스(Stanley Beaman & Sears)에 의해 설계되었으며 건설 비용은 1억 4,150만 달러였습니다. 배틀 빌딩에는 소아 및 성인 외래 진료와 외래 수술이 있습니다.[8][9] 200,000평방피트와[10] 7층이 넘는 이 건물에는 12개의 수술실과 임상시험동이 있습니다.[11] 2015년 배틀 빌딩은 LEED Gold 등급을 받았습니다.[12]

2016년 2월, UVA Children's는 UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh(CHP)와 파트너십을 맺고 소아 간 이식 프로그램을 확대했습니다. CHP는 미국 최초로 간이식센터를 설립한 후 간이식 분야의 선두주자입니다.[13][14]

2016년에는 UVA 어린이 병원의 모든 소아 및 여성 층을 보수하기 위해 UVA의 노력이 이루어졌습니다. 대부분의 부품이 여전히 가동되는 동안 개조가 이루어져야 했고, 비교적 작은 개조가 느려졌습니다. 7층과 8층에서 58,000평방피트의 보수가 이루어졌고, 2019년에 완공되었습니다.[15][16]

2020년 3월 샬러츠빌 로널드 맥도널드 하우스는 방문자 정책을 수정한 것 외에도 이미 거주하는 가족들에게 개방된 채로 새로운 가족들의 수용을 중단했습니다. 이 집은 2020년 9월에 새로운 가족들에게 다시 문을 열었습니다.[21]
