UTV Stars는 발리우드 생활 방식과 UTV 그룹의 화려한 인도 텔레비전 채널이었다.[3]인도와 아랍에미리트 전역에서 고화질, 표준 화질로 이용이 가능했으며,[4] 대체로 볼리우드 뉴스와 음악에 초점을 맞춘 채널의 콘텐츠였다.그 채널은 주로 도시 인도 젊은이들을 대상으로 했다.

Karisma Kapoor와 Vishal Malhotra는 UTV Stars의 쇼 럭스 The Chosed One의 에피소드에 출연했다.

이 채널은 2012년 6월 11일 영국과 아일랜드의 스카이에서 개통되었다.[5]이 지역에서는 UTV 브랜드에 대한 법적 문제로 UMP 스타즈(UMP Motion Pictures Stars, UTV Motion Pictures Stars)로 알려졌는데, UTV 브랜드에 대한 법적 문제 때문에 이 채널은 이미 유럽의 북부 아일랜드 방송사 UTV 미디어에 의해 사용되고 있었다.[6]하지만 이 채널은 이 지역의 시청자들을 끌어들이기 위해 애썼고 2012년 12월 23일에 폐쇄되었다.[7]

UTV 스타즈는 2014년 5월 가동을 중단했다.[8]이 채널은 월트디즈니컴퍼니(인도)가 2014년 10월 1일 론칭한 '빈다스 플레이'로 리브랜딩됐다.[9]
