술레이마니예 모스크(로즈)
Suleymaniye Mosque (Rhodes)
술레이마니예 모스크 또는 술레이만 모스크(터키어:슐레이마니예 카미이)는 원래 1522년 오스만이 로도스를 정복하고 1808년 재건한 모스크였다. 술탄 술레이만이 로도스를 정복한 것을 기념하기 위해 붙인 이름이다.
이 모스크는 로도스 마을의 첫 번째 모스크로, 1522년 오스만군이 포위하여 점령한 직후에 지어졌다. 1808년 현재의 모스크 건물은 이 최초의 모스크의 재건을 통해 지어졌다.[3] 그것의 회반죽은 장미 분홍색이다. 모스크의 대부분은 초기 같은 장소에 있던 건물들의 재료를 사용하여 재건되었다. 바깥쪽 아케이드의 기둥은 기독교 교회의 것이었다.[4]
Europa Nostra는 2006년에 이 사원을 명예롭게 구별했다.[2] 현재는 박물관 역할을 하고 있다.[1]
