솔 해리슨(1917년 – 1989년 11월 19일)[2][3]은 미국의 만화책 컬러리스트, 제작 매니저, 경영자로, 업계에서 50년 가까이 경력을 쌓았다.

경력

솔 해리슨은 잭 애들러와 함께 고등학교를 다녔고 두 남자는 종종 함께 판화 작업을 했다.[4]1933년에 해리슨은 동방색인쇄를 위한 유명한 재미에 대한 색 분리를 했다.[2]유명한 Funnies는 최초의 진정한 미국 만화책으로 여겨진다.만화사학자 론 굴라트는 이 책을 "잡지 출판의 가장 수익성이 좋은 분야 중 하나를 위한 초석"[5]이라고 부른다.작가 마틴 파스코는 2008년 해리슨이 "찰리 게인스가 현대 만화 형식을 어떻게 제작할 것인가를 알아내는 것을 도왔던 사람"[6]이라고 언급했다.
