피치 스테이트 캣츠(Peach State Cats)는 조지아주 수와니에 본사를 둔 프로 실내 축구팀이다.이들은 당초 2018시즌을 맞아 조지아주 달튼의 달튼컨벤션센터에서 홈경기를 치르겠다고 발표했지만 결국 여행전용팀이 됐다.그들은 다음 시즌에 조지아 주 아테네의 클래식 센터로 이사했다.
역사
더 캣츠는 구단주 팀 프리먼이 2017년 창단했는데, 원래 지역 준전문가 엘리트 실내 축구단의 일원으로 발표되고 마레노 필료우가 지도했다.[1]하지만, 아메리칸 아레나 리그(AAL)가 버몬트 벅스전에서 패한 후, 리그는 캣츠를 추가해서 패한 원정 경기를 메웠다.이들은 미국 조지아주 달튼의 달튼 컨벤션센터에서 홈경기를 최소 2차례 치를 예정이었으나 일정 변경으로 어쩔 수 없이 로드팀이 돼 경기장을 확보하지 못했다.[2][3]그들의 첫 경기는 2018년 3월 30일 조지아 둠에서 열렸다.그들은 0 대 6의 기록으로 시즌을 마쳤다.[4]
구단주 팀 프리먼은 2019시즌을 위해 부 미첼 전 애틀랜타 헤보크 감독을 새 단장으로 영입했으며 2019시즌을 위해 조지아주 아테네의 클래식 센터에서 홈구장을 새로 확보했다고 밝혔다.[5]그들은 캐롤라이나 카우보이츠와 접은 조지아 둠에 앞서 캐롤라이나 에너지 부문 준우승을 차지했지만, 에너지부는 경기 일정 문제로 플레이오프 경기를 개최하는 대신 바이 위주를 하기 위해 디비전 챔피언 조항을 사용하기로 결정했다.이로써 캣츠는 2019시즌 플레이오프에 진출하지 못한 채 준우승에 그쳤다.

2021년 12월 21일, 피치스테이트 캣츠가 2022시즌을 맞아 세미프로페셔널 엘리트 실내 축구에 합류한다는 발표가 있었다.[11]

Elite Indoor Football(EIF) would like to welcome the Peach State Cats to our league for the 2022 season! The Cats will be part of the Southern Division of the EIF. "I chose the EIF for the Peach State Cats 2022 and future seasons because of how established the league has become. I've dealt with first year leagues in the past that didn't return for a second season and start up leagues that didn't make it through the entire season due to unprofessionalism, I want to be a part of a league that's going to be here for the long run! EIF Commissioner Bobby Dammarell has done a great job making sure the EIF is seen as a professional league and has a platform that strive to get players seen by next level arena football teams. I've seen leagues lose focus on the teams involved in their leagues and again, that's not the case in the EIF! I've seen Bobby Dammarell excited to crown EIF Champions even when it wasn't his personal team. He is a man granting young men the opportunity to play and coach the game we all love on a platform that will further their professional careers, as this game has given myself the opportunity to further my coaching and playing career.
