Nitro Pro는 PDF(Portable Document Format) 파일 및 디지털 문서를 작성, 편집, 서명 및 보안하는 데 사용되는 애플리케이션이다.[2]
역사
니트로 소프트웨어는 어도비 아크로벳의 대체 PDF 소프트웨어로 3인 1조로 호주 멜버른에서 설립됐다.[3]
2015년에는 100만개의 라이선스가 판매되었다고 발표했다.2018년에는 니트로 생산성 및 eSigning Suit를 출시한다.[3]
보안 침해
니트로사는 2020년 10월, 사용자 및 문서 데이터베이스(Fortune 500대 기업 등 고객 포함)를 도난당해 다크웹에서 판매되는 피해를 입었다.회사 측은 이 사건을 인정하고 조사 중이라고 밝혔다.[4][5]
상품들
제품으로는 PDF 편집기, 전자서명용 브라우저 기반 애플리케이션, PDF 생산성 도구가 있다.구독 서비스에는 클라우드 기반 사용자 관리, 구축 및 분석 툴이 포함된다.Nitro는 또한 몇 개의 무료 문서 변환 사이트를 관리한다.이 회사는 PDF 리더인 니트로 리더를 2017년에 일몰시켰지만, 사용자들은 니트로 프로의 만료된 무료 시험으로 동일한 기능을 얻을 수 있다.
니트로의 데스크탑 제품은 윈도 전용이다.Nitro Cloud는 어떤 기계의 웹 브라우저와도 호환된다.Nitro Pro는 독점적인 시험용 소프트웨어인 반면 Nitro Reader는 개인용과 전문용 모두를 위한 무료 소프트웨어다.
