교육과 경력

학사 학위를 가지고 졸업했다.(명예) 1992년 스트래스클라이드 대학에서 정치철학을 전공했고, 1994년 런던 온타리오 주 웨스턴 온타리오 대학에서 정치학 석사, 2001년 셰필드 대학에서 정치학 박사 학위를 받았다.

2001년부터 에든버러 대학교에 취업해 정치학과를 시작으로 수석 강사를 거쳐 2012년 이 대학 행정학원에서 공공정책국장, 사회정치학부 지식교류영향부 부부장 등을 맡아 20여 명을 대상으로 활동하고 있다.16.

맥이웬은 2013년부터 헌법 변화에 관한 경제사회연구회(ESRC)의 공동대표를 맡고 있다.그녀는 정치와 국제 관계를 다루는 영토정치학 교수(2014년)이다.[17]

그녀는 또한 런던대학 헌법학부 펠로우이기도 하다.[2]

리서치

맥에웬 교수는 양대 노조의 동료였다. 브렉시트 이후 제도의 헌법적 미래는 제도 간 상호관계, 헌법적 문제, 경제연합 문제, 영국이 EU를 탈퇴할 경우의 사회적 영향 등을 검토하기 위해 ESRC가 자금을 지원하는 다방면 프로그램이다.[18]그녀는 변화하는 유럽에서 영국에 대한 또 다른 주요 협력 연구팀의 선임연구원이다.[2]그녀는 현재 'A Family of Nations'라고 불리는 0.5만 파운드의 연구 프로젝트를 이끌고 있다. 브렉시트, 디볼루션, 유니온.[12]
