무² 전갈자리(μ² 전갈자리, 줄여서 Mu² Sco, μ² Sco) 역시 피피리마 /pɪpɪrɪmə/[11]라는 별명으로 전갈자리 별자리에 있는 별이다.육안으로 볼 수 있을 만큼 밝은 +3.56의 겉보기 시야를 가지고 있다.[2]시차 측정에 의해 결정되는 태양으로부터의 거리는 약 474광년이다.[1]스콜피우스-센타우루스 협회의 상부 센타우루스-루푸스 하위그룹의 회원이다.[12]
특성.
이것은 B2 IV의 별 분류를 가진 청백의 B형 아거성 별이다.[3]태양의 7배 반경으로 추정되며, 태양 질량의 9배 가까이 되며,[6] 태양 광도의 2385배로 빛난다.[8]외부 대기의 유효 온도는 23,113 K이다.[7]약 1850만년[6] 된 것으로, 58km/s의 예상 회전 속도로 회전하고 있다.[9]
명명법
μ² 전갈자리(Mu² 전갈자리)는 이 별의 바이엘 명칭이다.
타히티에서는 피피리와 레화라는 남매의 전통 이야기가 전해지는데, 이들은 부모를 하늘로 피신시켜 별이 된다.그들의 부모는 그들을 하늘로 쫓아가는 동안 그들을 피피리 마라고 부른다: ma "함께" 그리고"는 "et al"이라는 뜻으로 이름 뒤에 사용된다.[13][14]한 계정으로 아이들은 스콜피오의 꼬리 끝에서 샤울라와 레사스가 되고,[13] 또 다른 계정으로 무²와 무아 스콜피아가 된다.[citation needed](쿡 제도에서 전해지는 비슷한 버전의 이야기에서는 오메가¹과 오메가² 전갈피가 된다.[13]
2016년 IAU는 스타들의 적절한 이름을 분류하고 표준화하기 위해 스타 네임 작업 그룹(WGSN)[15]을 조직했다.WGSN은 2017년 9월 5일 (파트너로는 자미디무라와 함께) 이 별의 피피리마라는 이름을 승인했으며, 현재는 IAU가 승인한 별명 목록에 포함되어 있다.[11]
중국 천문학에서 무² 전갈피는 尾增二라고 불린다.[16]
