MC라는 별명으로 가장 잘 알려진 장민철(張民 june, 1991년 6월 17일생)은 한국 프로 스타크래프트 II 선수 출신으로 프로토스 파벌로 활약하고 있다.MC는 토너먼트 우승으로 50만 달러가 넘는 돈을 모았고, 글로벌 스타크래프트 II 리그(GSL) 우승을 두 차례 차지했다.2014년 레드불 e스포츠는 그를 "역대 가장 성공한 스타크래프트2 선수 중 한 명"이라고 칭했다.[1]

스타크래프트 II 커리어

구세대(2010~2012년)

결승전에서 푸마를 3-2로 꺾고 인텔 익스트림마스터스 시즌 VI 월드 챔피언십(2012년 3월 10일)에서 우승,[2] GOMTV 글로벌 스타크래프트 II 리그(GSL)를 두 차례나 꺾으며 2012년 현재 세계 최고의 스타크래프트 II 선수로 꼽힌다.[3][4][5][6]IEM 시즌 6 - 글로벌 챌린지 쾰른에서 은메달을 따면서 2011 드림핵 스톡홀름 인비테이셔널과 2011 코펜하겐 게임스프링에서 우승하는 등 유럽에서도 비슷한 성공을 거두고 있다.

SK 게이밍(2012-2013)

2011년 7월 한국팀 올드 제너레이션스(ogs)에서 뛰던 민철은 해외 대회에서 SK 게이밍을 대표하기 시작했다.[7]2012년 1월 민철이 올드세대를 떠나 SK 게이밍 풀타임으로 이적하면서 이번 파트너십은 막을 내렸다.[8]그는 2013년 말 SK가 탈퇴를 선언할 때까지 SK에 남아있을 것이다.[9][10]

자유제(2014-현재)

2013년 말 SK 게이밍에서 떠난 뒤 MC는 SK 게이밍에서 전 매니저와 계속 호흡을 맞추겠지만 새로운 프로팀에는 합류하지 않겠다고 밝혔다.[11]

2015년 6월 18일, MC는 트위터를 통해 은퇴를 알렸다.[12]

리그 오브 레전드 커리어

2016년 11월 2일, MC가 콩두의 리그 오브 레전드 팀을 코치한다고 발표하였다.[13]
