John Sherman (businessman)존 J. 셔먼은 미국의 사업가 입니다. 그는 메이저 리그 야구(MLB)의 캔자스 시티 로얄스의 대주주다.
존 셔먼은 L.P. Inergy의 설립자 겸 과거 회장 겸 CEO이다.[1]

셔먼은 오타와 대학을 졸업했다. 그는 LPG 서비스 그룹을 설립했고, 후에 Dynegy와 합병했다. 1996년에 셔먼은 이너지를 설립했다. 2013년 크레스트우드 홀딩스와 합병했다.[2]
셔먼은 2016년 클리블랜드 인디언스의 소수 지분을 사들여 이들의 부회장이 됐다.[3][4][5]
2019년 8월 30일, 캔자스시티 로열스 구단주 데이비드 글래스는 10억 달러가 넘는 신고가로 셔먼에게 프랜차이즈를 매각할 의사를 밝혔다. MLB와 구단주들은 11월 21일 매입을 승인했다.[6]
