제임스 오스틴은 영국의 성직자로 유명한 소설가 제인 오스틴의 장남으로 가장 잘 알려져 있다.[1]그의 아버지의 생계는 햄프셔의 스테벤톤에 있었고, 1801년 제임스가 그의 뒤를 이어 이 자리에 올랐다.
