플레처(Fletcher)는 오스트레일리아 퀸즐랜드 주 서던 다운스 지역에 있는 시골 지역이다.[2]2016년 인구조사에서 플레처는 92명의 인구를 가지고 있었다.[1]

지리

세번 강은 그 지역의 서쪽 경계를 이룬다.지형은 어느 정도 산지인데, 계곡의 땅이 농사에 쓰이고 있다.지역 동쪽에 있는 작은 지역은 기라위네 국립공원의 일부분이다.그것과는 별개로, 주된 토지 이용은 토종 초목과 농작물 재배에서 방목하고 있다.[3]

뉴잉글랜드 하이웨이와 남서부 철도 노선은 북쪽(글렌 아플린)에서 남쪽(발란데스)으로 지방도를 통과한다.[3]

The locality of Fletcher is presume to be named after the Fletcher railway station (28°45′58″S 151°50′51″E / 28.7660°S 151.8475°E / -28.7660; 151.8475 (Fletcher railway station)), which was named by the Queensland Railways Department in 1887, after orchardist Thomas Henry Fletcher, who pioneered the growing of fruit in the Granite Belt area.[9][10]
