역사

제1차 세계 대전 이후 과수 재배에 중점을 둔 군인 정착지로 이 일대가 개방되었다.이 마을은 1920년 퀸즐랜드 철도부에서 제1차 세계대전에 처음으로 군인으로 입대했다고 여겨졌던 과수원학자 에드워드 코튼의 이름을 따서 차례로 명명된 코튼 베일 기차역의 이름을 따서 지어졌다.[4][5]
