엘리엇 R. 솔레 (1948년 6월 6일 출생)는 한스 라이헨바흐 교수, 윌리엄 F. 빌라스 위스콘신대 철학과 교수-매디슨.[1] 솔레스트는 생물학 철학과 과학의 일반철학에 관한 연구로 유명하다.[2]

학력

솔레스는 박사학위를 받았다.Hilary Putnam의 감독 하에 하버드 대학교에서[3] 철학을 전공하고, Mary Hesse의 감독하에 캠브리지 대학교에서 대학원 공부를 한 후 D. 그의 연구도 생물학자 리처드 레원틴의 영향을 강하게 받았고,[8][9] 생물학자 데이비드 슬론 윌슨,[4][5] 스티븐 오르작[6][7], 마이크 스틸과도 협력했다.

철학
