쿠오나바라브란 샤이어는 오스트레일리아 뉴사우스웨일스의 오라나 지역에 있는 지방 정부 지역이었다.샤이어는 1905년 지방정부(샤이어)법이 제정되면서 1906년 3월 7일 공포되었고, 쿠오나바라브란 마을을 중심으로 하였으나, 바라딘, 빈나웨이와 같은 작은 마을까지 확장된 넓은 지역을 커버하기도 했다.2004년 8월 25일 샤이어는 인접한 쿨라 샤이어와 자발적으로 합병하여 워럼벙글 샤이어를 결성하였다.[1][2]

의회 역사

1905년 지방정부(샤이어)법의 제정으로 1906년 3월 7일 공포된 5명의 참의원 중 최초의 임시 쿠나바라브란 샤이어 협의회는 1906년 5월 15일 선거가 치러질 때까지 다음과 같이 임명되었다.[3]

임시 평의회의 첫 번째 회의는 1906년 5월 14일 코트 하우스에서 열렸으며, 알프레드 브라운은 최초의 샤이어 대통령을 선출했다.[5][6]첫 번째 선거는 1906년 11월 24일 3명의 재적 의원(A, B, C)에 선출된 6명의 참의원들을 대상으로 실시되었으며, 윌리엄 내쉬는 유일한 재적 의원이다.[7]

1906년에 처음 편입되었지만 샤이어에서의 성장과 발전의 상당 부분은 1917년에 빈나웨이를 거쳐 코오나바라브란까지 철도를 건설한 것(1923년에 바라딘과 과베가르까지 연장된 것)과 1916년에 산림위원회를 설립하는 두 가지 제1차 세계 대전 시대의 주정부 사업 때문이었다.그 지역의 주요 산업으로서의 농업과 임업의 성장을 테드했다.[8]
