Cermak-McCormick Place는 CTA의 그린 라인의 "L"역이다.시카고에 본사를 둔 로스 바니 건축가가 설계하고 1차 컨설턴트 T.Y. 린 인터내셔널이 설계한 이 역은 시카고의 근린사우스 사이드에 있는 세르막 로드와 스테이트 스트리트에 위치해 있다.역에는 세 개의 출입구가 있는데, 세막로 양쪽에 하나씩, 23번가에 하나씩 있다.중앙역 출입구는 세르막길 북쪽에 세워져 있다.[2]
신설된 역은 1892년 6월 6일에 개업하여 1977년 9월 9일에 폐업한 원래의 세르막역을 대체하였으며, 1978년에 철거되었다.[3]완전히 접근 가능한 새로운 인필 역은 완전한 환승 서비스를 유지하면서 기존의 역사적인 고가 고속 환승 구조물과 그 주변에 설계되고 건설되었다.역의 대표적인 요소는 승객 탑승 구역의 바람막이 역할을 하는 구조용 강관이다.[4]이전 역과 신설 역은 모두 루즈벨트 남쪽과 35번지-브론빌-북쪽에 위치해 있다.IIT.
2012년 1월 17일, 시카고 시장인 람 에마누엘은 기자 회견에서, 맥코믹 플레이스에 서비스를 제공하기 위해 세르막 역이 재건될 것이라고 발표했다.[5][6]이 5천만 달러의 투자는 또한 시 근사남부의 주택가 개발을 촉진하고 인접한 역사적인 모터 로우 지구(Motor Row District)에 활력을 불어넣기 위한 것이다.2013년 8월 29일 새 역 기공식이 열렸다.[7][8]새로운 Cermak-McCormick Place Green Line 역은 2015년 2월 8일에 개통되었다.[9][10]
