흔히 쿨라타 버섯통 도롱뇽으로 알려진 볼리토글로사 오레스테스는 도롱뇽과에 속하는 도롱뇽의 일종이다.베네수엘라 [2]메리다주의 고유종이다.
분류법
1999년에 [3]기술된 볼리토글로스 해면동물(통칭: 스폰지 도롱뇽)은 2012년부터 볼리토글로스 오레스테스의 [2]동의어로 간주되고 있다.
묘사
성충 볼리토글로사 오레스트는 코-배기 길이가 34~46mm(1.3~1.8인치)이다.수컷과 암컷은 비슷하다.그들의 피부는 매끄럽고 갈색-오렌지색에서 등쪽은 연한 갈색 또는 노란색이지만 옆구리는 더 어둡다.꼬리는 코-배기 [4]길이만큼 길다.육종은 직접적인 [1]발달에 의한 것이다.
서식 및 보호
이 희귀한 종은 2,000-3,500m (6,600–11,500ft)[1][2]의 고도에 있는 운무림에서만 발견된다.일부 개체군은 서식지 상실로 인해 위협을 받을 수 있지만, 많은 개체군은 보호구역 [1]내에 있다.
