앤드루 디어그 위트먼은 스코틀랜드 독립 정치인으로 2016년부터 2021년까지 로티안 지역의 스코틀랜드 의회(MSP) 의원을 지냈다. 스코틀랜드 그린스 소속으로 선출되었으나, 2020년 당에서 사임하고, 무소속으로 남은 임기를 다 마쳤다. 그는 스코틀랜드의 토지 소유에 관한 연구로 가장 잘 알려진 작가 겸 연구원이다. 그는 Who Owns Scotland (1996년)와 The Poor Had No Laws (2015년)의 저자다.

배경
