2022년 10월 30일, 인도 구자라트주 모르비시의 마추 강 위의 보행자 현수교가 붕괴되어 최소 135명이 사망하고 180명 이상이 부상을 입었습니다.

19세기 다리는 보수를 위해 장기간 폐쇄된 후 디왈리와 구자라트 새해에 맞춰 5일 전에 다시 개통되었습니다.

배경

붕괴

2022년 10월 30일 오후 6시 40분 다리가 붕괴되었습니다.[9][17]붕괴 당시 다리 위에는 공식 수용인원 125명을 훨씬 웃도는 500여 명이 타고 있었습니다.[18]다리의 보안 영상에는 구조물이 격렬하게 흔들리는 모습과 통로가 무너지기 전 다리 양쪽에서 사람들이 케이블을 붙잡고 펜스를 치는 모습이 찍혔습니다.[19]구조 및 복구 작업의 이미지는 일부 조각들이 끊어진 케이블에 매달려 있는 가운데 통로가 중간 지점에서 갈라져 있는 것을 보여주었습니다.[19]

한 생존자는 다리 위의 많은 사람들이 간신히 움직일 수 있었고 다리의 파편들이 몇몇 희생자들을 짓눌렀다고 말했습니다.[19]이 사건으로 여동생을 포함해 12명의 가족을 잃은 록 사바 국회의원 모한 쿤다리야는 원인이 과부하라고 생각한다고 말했습니다.[5][8]오레바 대변인은 너무 많은 사람들이 다리 중간 부분에 있는 것 같다고 말했습니다.[11][20] "그것을 흔들려고"

조사

최초의 보도에 따르면, 이 다리는 모비 지방 자치 단체의 지역 시민 당국으로부터 요구되는 건강 진단서 없이 수리 후에 조기에 재개장되었다고 합니다.2001년 지진 이후 수리 계약에 합의했던 자치단체의 최고 책임자는 보수 공사를 맡은 민간 회사가 "우리에게 알리지 않고 방문객들에게 다리를 개방했고, 따라서 우리는 다리에 대한 안전 감사를 받을 수 없었다"고 말했습니다.[13]

법원에 제출된 법의학 보고서는 케이블이 녹슬고 앵커가 부러져 있고, 앞서 언급한 두 개를 연결하는 볼트가 느슨해 다리가 새 무거운 바닥재의 무게를 견디지 못했다고 밝혔습니다.[29][3]구자라트 정부는 원인을 조사하고 규명하기 위해 5명으로 구성된 위원회를 구성했습니다.[30][31]오레바에 고용된 관리인 2명과 매표원 2명, 건설업자 2명, 고용된 경비원 3명 [32][33]등 모두 오레바 일당과 관련된 9명이 체포돼 조사를 받았습니다.[3]

인도 형법 제304조(살인에 해당하지 않는 살인), 제308조(사망을 유발하는 고의적 행위), 제114조(범행 시 교사 또는 교사)에 따라 교량의 유지 및 관리 기관에 대한 첫 번째 정보 보고가 제출되었습니다.[30][34]
