베르밀리오-로이드민스터는 캐나다 앨버타 주의 지방 선거구로 1993년부터 2019년까지 우편투표 방식을 먼저 통과시켜 의원 1명을 알버타 의회로 돌려보내도록 의무화했다.
이 선거구에서 가장 큰 지역사회는 로이드민스터시, 베르밀리오시, 바이킹시 등이다.
역사
선거구는 1993년 옛 로이드민스터와 베르밀리온 바이킹 지구에서 재분배되면서 만들어졌다.
2004년 알버타 선거 경계선 재분배에 따라 선거구는 동쪽으로 사스카처원 국경으로 경계를 이루었으며, 거기서부터는 시계방향으로 배틀리버-웨인라이트, 포트 사스카처원-베그레빌, 라크 라 비체-스트(Lac La Bich-St)가 경계를 이루고 있다. 폴과 보니빌-콜드 레이크.[1]그 지역은 2010년 선거 경계선 재분배에서도 전혀 변함이 없었다.[2]
이 선거구는 2017년 선거경계 재분배 과정에서 폐지됐으며, 2019년 앨버타 총선을 위해 실시되는 버밀리언-로이드민스터-웨인라이트, 포트사스카처완-베그레빌 선거구로 재분배됐다.[3]

이 승마는 1993년에 만들어졌고 그것이 만들어진 이후 많은 주요 요소들을 가지고 있는 진보적 보수당 MLA를 돌려주고 있다.첫 번째 멤버는 Steve West로 1986년부터 두 번의 임기 동안 Vermilion-Viking에서 MLA를 역임한 적이 있다.이 승마를 대표하면서 그는 랄프 클라인 정부에서 많은 내각 포트폴리오를 담당했다.웨스트는 2001년에 공직에서 은퇴했다.
이 놀이기구의 두 번째 대표는 로이드 스넬그로브(Lloyd Snelgrove)로 2001년 처음 선출되어 그 이후 3번의 임기를 역임했다.스넬그로브는 잠시 에드 스텔마흐 정부 밑에서 재무장관을 지냈다.그는 앨리슨 레드포드 총리와 환멸을 느낀 후 2012년 1월 27일 진보적 보수당 당원대회를 떠나 무소속 의원으로 앉기로 결정했다.[5]
리차드 스타크 박사는 2012년 선거에서 진보 보수당 후보로 출마했고, 2015년 선거에서 캘거리 외곽에서 재선에 성공한 단 두 대의 PC MLA 중 한 명이었다.그는 와일드로즈로부터 독립 정당을 남기는 캠페인으로 2017년 PC 지도자 선거에서 2위를 차지했다.이후 PC들이 와일드로즈 입당과 통합보수당 구성을 표결에 부치자 그는 신당 입당보다는 PC로 계속 앉겠다고 선언했다.[6]
스타크는 제29대 입법부 말기에 은퇴했다.이 구는 동시에 폐지되었고, 베르밀리온-로이드민스터-웨인라이트로 대체되었다.

2004년 11월 19일, 2004년 알버타 총선거 결과와 병행하기 위해 참여 알버타 학교에서 학생 투표가 실시되었다.이 투표는 학생들을 교육하고 아직 법적 다수에 도달하지 못한 사람들을 위한 선거 과정을 시뮬레이션하기 위해 고안되었다.이번 투표는 83개 지방 선거구 중 80곳에서 학생들이 실제 선거 후보를 투표하는 방식으로 진행됐다.다른 선거구에 거주하는 큰 학생 단체를 가진 학교들은 그들이 물리적으로 위치한 선거구 밖에서 투표할 수 있는 선택권을 가지고 있었다.
