티타늄금

Titanium gold

야금에서 티타늄골드(Ti-Au 또는 Au-Ti)는 티타늄과 금으로 구성된 합금을 말한다.그러한 합금은 치과,[1][2] 도자기, 보석 등에 사용된다.[3]다른 많은 합금들과 마찬가지로 티타늄 금 합금은 그 구성 금속들 중 하나에 비해 항복 강도, 인장 강도, 경도 및 자력이 더 높다.[4]

2016년 7월, 연구자들은 티타늄 금 합금인 β-TiAu3(강력하게 말하면, 금속간 합금)가 티타늄보다 최대 4배 더 단단하다는 사실을 밝혀냈다.[5][6]

대중문화에서

2008년 영화 아이언맨에서 주인공은 티타늄 금 합금으로 만든 갑옷을 입고 있다.[7][8]아이언맨 역을 맡은 배우 로버트 다우니 주니어에 따르면, 이 슈트는 그에게 "금티타늄 장갑처럼" 어울린다고 한다.[9]

2019년 책 《비밀의 영연방》(His Dark Materials 3부작)에서 알레티오미터는 주로 티타늄 금 합금으로 만들어진 것으로 밝혀졌다.[10]

《블랙리스트》의 S6:E22에서 쇼의 컴퓨터 위즈인 아람 모즈타바이(Aram Mojtabai)에서는 레딩턴을 수용하기 위해 원래 케이지가 만들어졌다고 언급하고 있다.
