Target은 1979년부터 1995년까지 매월 영어로 발행된 인도의 인기 어린이 잡지였다.그것은 독자들의 기고문, 일반 작가들의 이야기, 직접 하는 기사, 그리고 몇몇 인기 만화 연재물들을 혼합한 것을 특징으로 했다.

역사

1979년 9월, 델리에 정착한 영국의 국외 거주 교육자 로잘린드 윌슨(1942년~92년 7월 28일)이 Target을 설립하고 그 설립자 [1][2]겸 편집자가 되었다.이 잡지는 인디아 투데이 그룹을 소유한 리빙 미디어가 소유하고 있었다.1992년 로잘린드 윌슨이 사망한 후, 이 잡지의 발행은 이야기와 삽화의 성공적인 공식으로 아메나 자얄 치하에서 계속되었다.

1995년, 더 큰 연령층을 목표로 하는 움직임에서, India Today Group은 Teens Today 잡지를 창간하기 위해 Target을 종료했다.패션과 도시 생활에 중점을 둔 틴즈 투데이가 가식적인 타겟의 폭넓은 매력을 갖지 못했기 때문에 이 움직임은 실패였다.Teens Today는 Target의 나이 많은 Vatsala Kaul에 의해 편집되었습니다.

내용

Target의 인기 있는 기능은 국제적인 펜팔 친구에 대한 정보가 포함된 페이지였다.이메일이 통신에 혁명을 일으키기 전, 펜팔 친구를 사귀는 것은 세계를 널리 알려는 목적과 외국에서 우표를 모으는 목적 모두 인기 있는 취미였다.
