타포조스속은 에메바늘로누리아과의 한 속이다.호주, 인도네시아, 파푸아뉴기니, 아프리카 등 여러 지역에 분포하고 있다.Taphozous comes from the Greek τάφος, meaning "a tomb".종에 대한 일반적인 이름에는 주머니날개박쥐, 칼집박쥐 또는 무덤박쥐의 변종이 포함된다.

이 속은 Taphozoinae [2]아과의 분류 유형으로, 2개의 아속을 설명하는 배열은 다음과 같다.
