Tanygnathus는 Psittaculini 부족에 속하는 앵무새의 한 속이다.
분류법
타니그나투스속은 1832년 [1]독일의 박물학자 요한 바글러에 의해 도입되었다.모식종은 이후 [2][3]1840년 영국의 동물학자 조지 로버트 그레이에 의해 큰 부리를 가진 앵무새(Tanygnathus megalorynchos)로 지정되었다.타니그나투스라는 이름은 고대 그리스 단어인 "tanuo"와 "jaw"[4]라는 gnathos를 합친 것입니다.
