서터 카운티 도서관

Sutter County Library

서터카운티 도서관(Sutter County Free Library)은 캘리포니아 서터카운티 주민을 위한 공공 도서관 시스템이다.캘리포니아주 유바시에 위치한 본점 등 군내 4개 지점을 운영하고 있다.[1][2]

이 도서관은 2017년에 100주년을 기념했다.[3]도서관의 원래 건물은 군민 10,115명이었던 1927년에 6,437달러의 비용으로 도서관으로 사용하기 위한 책으로 인수, 개축되었다.이 기금은 카운티의 일반 기금과 학교 예산에서 나왔다.[4]2017년 이 도서관에는 4만 명 이상의 카드홀더가 있었고 2010년 현재 서터 카운티의 인구는 9만 4,737명이다.[5][6]

서터 카운티 도서관 시스템은 귀화 신청 이민자를 위한 문해프로그램, 시민권 및 영어문해수업, 독서능력 습득을 돕는 프로그램 등 아동활동 등 다양한 프로그램을 제공한다.[7][8][9][10][11][12]
