수닐 쿠마르 포드더(Sunil Kumar Podder, 1939년 2월 1일 출생)는 리간드에 대한 생물물리학 연구로 유명한 인도의 분자생물학자 겸 생물물리학자다.[1] 생물학적 시스템에서의 인식 과정과 그 화학적 특수성에 대한 연구를 집중하면서, 그는 핵산 염기성 단백질 아미노산 결합의 자유 에너지를 이용하여 특이성을 측정하는 모델을 제안했다.[2] 1972년부터 1997년까지 가르쳤던 인도과학연구소 생화학과의 교수진 [3]출신이자 인도생물물리학회의 종신회원으로 동료 검토 저널에[5][6][7][8] 자신의 연구 결과를 상세히 기술한 논문을 여러 편 발표해 많은 논문을 발표했다.[4][9] 인도 정부의 과학 연구 정점 기관인 과학 산업 연구 위원회는 1982년 생물 과학에 기여한 공로로 그에게 인도 최고의 과학상 중 하나인 샨티 스와럽 바트나가르 과학기술상을 수여했다.[10]
