시그마 시그마(Sigma Sigma, cincinnati cincinnati)는 신시내티 대학교의 남자 상급생 명예동우회다.1898년에 설립되었으며, 신시내티 대학의 그러한 기관들 중 가장 오래된 기관이다.[citation needed]조직의 체질은 다음과 같다. "조직의 이름은 시그마 시그마(Sigma Sigma)로 한다.거래되는 모든 사항은 신시내티 대학의 질서와 이익을 위한 것이다.이 헌법은 개정되지 않는다."[1]

역사

시그마 시그마는 1898년 여름 파크 존슨, 러셀 윌슨, 로버트 험프리스, 월터 에버하르트, 찰스 W에 의해 설립되었다.애들러, 스미스 히클루퍼, 앤드류 히클루퍼, 에이다 이네스.원래 2학년 사회로 만들어진 시그마 시그마는 1902년에 이르러 상류층 남성 조직으로 알려지게 되었다.설립 이후 다방면으로 진행되어 온 신시내티 대학의 진학이라는 취지는 그대로였다.[2][3]

그 단체는 각 졸업식 전에 대학 보안관이 들고 가는 의식용 메스를 기증했다.[4]

이 기구는 창립 이후 이 대학을 위한 여러 행사와 자선 목표를 후원해 왔으며, 이 기구의 회원들은 2019년 현재 7,200만 달러 이상을 기부했다.[5]

베어캣 씨

이 단체의 또 다른 전통은 베어캣 씨의 오랜 상이다.이 영예는 졸업반 졸업반으로 학업성취도를 달성하고 다양한 분야에서 리더십을 발휘하며 베어캣 정신으로 신시내티 대학에 공헌한 사람을 인정한다.이 상은 1949년부터 시그마 시그마가 매년 수여하고 있다.[9]
