슈토콘은 미시간 주 랜싱에 있는 국회의사당에 있는 라디슨 호텔 랜싱에서 3월 동안 매년 열리는 3일간의 애니메이션 컨벤션이었다.이 대회의 이름은 캐피탈 시티 컨벤션의 약자다.[4]주최측은 또한 비디오 게임 컨벤션인 랜덤 배틀 콘을 주최했다.[5]슈토콘은 행사장에 더 이상 공식 기능하는 웹사이트가 없어져 폐지된 것으로 간주되고 있다.

프로그래밍

그 컨벤션은 전형적으로 애니메이션 관람실, 예술가 골목, 의상 대회, 딜러, 게임방, 비디오 게임 토너먼트를 제공했다.[2][6][7]게임은 대회 기간 동안 24시간 동안 계속되었다.[2]

2011년 대회에서는 2011년 도호쿠 지진과 쓰나미 자선단체에 2200달러를 모금했고, 2012년에는 대란싱 푸드뱅크를 지원했다.[8] 2018년 자선공구는 End Africul Hounces에 혜택을 주었다.[9]

역사

1차 대회 주최 측은 300여 명이 참석할 예정으로 1300여 명이 모습을 드러냈다.[10][8]2012년, 그 컨벤션은 래디슨 호텔의 모든 방을 사용했다.[8]1, 2년차 모두 참석자가 많아 대회에는 배지와 랜야드가 바닥났다.[8]슈토콘은 2014년 7,000명의 관람객이 관람할 수토콘은 7,000명의 관람 한도를 가지고 있었다.[2][11]게이밍은 2016년 컨벤션센터로 이전했다.[1]이 대회는 2017년 현재 라디슨의 모든 호텔 객실을 다른 호텔 객실과 함께 채운다.[12]
