사만타 슈왈린(1978년 출생)은 아르헨티나의 스페인어 작가로서, 단편소설 3집과 중편소설, 소설 등을 출판했는데, 이 책은 한 권과 잡지에 실렸다. 그녀의 작품은 수많은 상을 받았고 영어, 독일어, 프랑스어, 이탈리아어, 포르투갈어, 세르비아어, 스웨덴어 등 20개 이상의 언어로 번역되었다. 그녀는 베를린에 산다.[1][2]
