스타란

STARAN

정보기술 산업에서 스타란은 연상기억을 중심으로 설계된 최초의 상용 컴퓨터일 것이다.스타란 컴퓨터는 Goodyear Aerospace Corporation에 의해 설계되고 제작되었다.콘텐트 주소 지정 병렬 프로세서(CAPP)로, 콘텐트 주소 지정 메모리를 사용하는 병렬 프로세서의 일종이다.STARAN은 4x256 1비트 처리 요소(PE) 컴퓨터가 탑재된 단일 명령어 다중 데이터 어레이 프로세서다.STARAN 기계는 1972년에 사용 가능하게 되었다.

Goodyear Aerospace는 후에 유사한 원칙에 기초하여 MPP를 개발했지만 더 크고 더 넓은 프로세서 어레이로 개발했다.
