Rubí Rodríguez

루비 엘레나 로드리게스 모레노(Rubi Ellena Rodriguez Moreno)는 라 프론테라 대학교 수학통계학과에 재학 중인 칠레 수학자로,[1] 이베로아메리카 기하학회의 창립자로 칠레 수리학회 회장을 역임했다.[2]그녀의 연구 전문 분야로는 복잡한 기하학, 푸치안 그룹, 리만 표면, 아벨리안 품종 등이 있다.[1][2]
교육
Rodriguez는 1975년 Universidad Técnica del Estado에서 수학 석사 학위를 취득했다.[1]그녀는 1981년 컬럼비아 대학에서 박사과정을 마쳤다. 그녀의 논문인 On Schotky-Type Groups with Riemann Surfaces with Nodes는 Lipman Bers의 감독을 받았다.[3]
경력
로드리게스는 칠레 산티아고 대학에서 일했지만 1985년 아우구스토 피노체트 정권 시절 정치적 이유 없이 해임됐다.많은 동료들이 이 결정에 항소하자, 그녀는 Federico Santa Maria Technical University에 고용되었다.[4]
그녀는 2006년부터 2010년까지 칠레 수리학회 회장을 역임했다.[2]

Rodrigez는 Complex Analysis라는 책의 공동저자다. 립맨 버스의 정령([5]Erwin Kra, Jane Piore Gilman과 함께 수학의 텍스트 2007, 2차 에드 2013).그녀는 Life in Mathematics(미국수학협회, 2015년, 린다 킨, 어윈 크라와 함께) Lipman Bers의 공동 편집자다.[6]
