레스퍼블라(ResPublica, 라틴어 구절에서 '공공의 것' 또는 '공공의 것'을 뜻하는 res Publica)는 필립 블론드가 2009년 설립한 영국의 독립 공공정책 싱크탱크다.[1][2] 그것은 스스로를 다학제, 비당파 정치 연구 기관으로 묘사하고 있는데, 이들의 목표는 사회와 경제 문제를 견디는 과감한 해결책을 만드는 것이다.[3]
레스퍼블라의 사상은 전통적인 좌우 이분법을 넘어서는 자유주의적 미래 비전의 원리에 기초하고 있으며, 이는 공익을 위한 언어와 실천의 회복의 필요성을 우선시한다.[4]
역사
당시 야당 당수였던 데이비드 캐머런은 2009년 레스퍼블라의 출범 때 연설했고 당시 필립 블론드는 그에게 큰 영향을 끼친 것으로 전해졌다.[5]
필립 블론드는 ResPublica의 감독이다.[6] 2017년까지 맥스 윈드 코위는 레스퍼블라 노스 부이사장이었다.[7]
2011년 ResPublica는 재정난으로 인해 한동안 임대료를 지불할 수 없게 되자 직원을 중복하게 할 수 밖에 없었다. 필립 블론드는 이후 언론에서 "제시제 생활방식을 추구하기 위해 자신의 싱크탱크의 재원을 '조달했다'고 주장해 비판을 받았다.[8]
레스퍼블리카는 2019년 2월 부실행정에 들어간 더레스퍼블리카 트러스트라는 회사가 운영했다.[3] 그 자산은 레스퍼블라파트너십 유한회사가 미리 포장된 부실로 매입했다.[9][10]

2010년 11월 15일 창간된 레스퍼블리카의 보고서 '구매하기 위해, 입찰하기 위해, 건설하기 위해: 자산 소유 민주주의를 위한 공동체 권리'는 실적이 저조한 공공부문의 사유화 전략을 열거했다.[11][12][13] 개발신탁협회의 지원을 받아 네스타에서 개최된 이번 출범식에서 그레그 클라크 MP 지역사회자치부 장관이 연설했다.
레스퍼블라는 '지역사회 재생에너지 경제' 보고서의 일환으로 에너지 및 기후변화위원회의 지역 에너지 협의에, 에너지 및 기후변화부(DEC)의 지역사회 에너지 요청에 증거를 제출했다.[14]
2013년 11월, "이 하원이 2013년 7월 ResPublica 'Holistic Mission: 당시 레스터의 주교였던 팀 스티븐스가 제안한 '사회행동과 영국 교회'가 상원에서 논의됐다.[15]
2014년 7월, ResPublica의 보고서 'Virtuous Banking: 금융의 핵심으로 정신과 목적을 회복하는 것'은 금융 표준 심의회의 의장인 리처드 램버트 경에 의해 파이낸셜 타임즈에 게재되었다.[16] 그 보고서는 언론에서 널리 보도된 '은행주의 선서'에 대한 제안들을 특집으로 다루었다.[17]
2014년 9월 레스퍼블리카는 '데보 맥스 - 데보 맨크'[18]를 출범시켜 재정 통제를 강화하고 선출된 시장으로 선출된 맨체스터의 권력이양 로드맵 역할을 했다. 2014년 11월 맨체스터 연합 정부 협약에 대한 2014년 11월 이양 조약이 체결되면서, 정부와 연합 당국에 의해 이러한 변경 사항이 채택되었다.
2015년 2월, ResPublica는 'Britainst British's City Streating British's City States: ResPublica와 The Core City가 공동으로 주최하는 영국 디볼루션 서밋에서 '디볼루션, 공공서비스 개혁 및 지역 경제 성장'을 개최하였다.[19][20][21][22]
2015년 11월, ResPublica의 중간 보고서 '케어 붕괴: 곧 닥칠 거주자 진료의 위기와 그것이 NHS에 미치는 영향은'[23] ('Care After Cure: Care After Cure: 병원에서 집으로[24] 가는 빠른 경로 만들기' 후속으로) 발표되었는데, 이는 요양원 침대의 손실로 인해 NHS가 30억 파운드가 들 것이라고 예측했다. 나중에 정부는 2015년 가을 성명에서 그 부문에 대한 추가 기금을 발표했다.[25]

레스퍼블리카는 2019년 개편 전 2018년 트랜스파라파이(Transparify[26])로부터 자금 지원에서 '광범위하게 투명하다'는 평가를 받았고, '후유펀드유(Who Funds you)'[27]로부터 자금 투명성 B등급을 받았다.
