하이라이프에서의 복제자의 진화.
세포 오토마타에서 복제자는 자신의 복제품을 생산하는 패턴이다.
1차원 규칙 90 세포자동화에서 모든 패턴은 복제자 입니다.[1]생명과 같은 세포 자동 규칙 복제자(B1357/S1357)에서도 마찬가지다.[2][3]
하이라이프(B36/S23) 규칙에는 간단한 복제자가 있다.[2]
2013년 11월 23일 데이브 그린은 콘웨이의 게임 오브 라이프(B3/S23)에서 최초의 복제자를 만들었다.[4][better source needed]
