필로더마는 아테리아과에 속하는 곰팡이속이다.필로더마의 구별되는 특징은 두꺼운 담자포자(약 0.25µm), 줄기 모양의 밑바탕이 있는 곤봉 모양의 담자포자, 그리고 조개 없는 격막균이다.[2]널리 분포하는 속은 6종을 [3]포함하고 있다.
생태학
필로더마는 침엽수림에서 질소 재활용과 [4]동화를 돕는 주요 외균근종으로 알려져 있다.
