Mymonaviridae는 곰팡이를 [1][2]감염시키는 Monegavirales목의 음성 가닥 RNA 바이러스 과이다.곰팡이는 자연 숙주의 역할을 한다.이름은 곰팡이를 뜻하는 고대 그리스 마이코와 모노네가비랄레스의 [3]합성어이다.이 패밀리는 스켈로티니아 스켈로티오럼의 [4][5]저바이러스 변종에서 발견된 새로운 바이러스인 스켈로티니아 스켈로티오럼 음성사슬 RNA 바이러스 1(SsNSRV-1)을 수용하기 위해 설립되었다.
