워런 산(Mount Warren, 13,728 ft (4,184m))은 미국 와이오밍 주의 윈드 리버 산맥에 위치해 있다.[3] 이 봉우리는 이 산맥에서[4] 세 번째 봉우리로 와이오밍에서 네 번째로 높다.[5] 정상의 위치는 쇼쇼네 국립 숲의 피츠패트릭 황야지(Fitzpatrick Wildway of Shoshone National Forest)에 있으며, 정상 타워 바로 북쪽에 있는 딘우디 빙하로 가장 잘 알려져 있다. 그 산은 아브리지에 있지만, 그 안에 있지 않다. 브리저 국립 숲이나 와이오밍 주 수블렛 카운티.
위험
곰과 마주치는 것은 윈드 리버 산맥에서 우려되는 일이다.[6] 벌레, 산불, 불리한 눈 상태, 야간 추위 등 다른 걱정거리들도 있다.[7]
중요한 것은 1993년,[8] 2007년(NOLS 경험이 풍부한 지도자의 개입),[9] 2015년[10], 2018년 등 수년간 가파른 절벽(이 등급 4/5 지형에서 잘못 걸리면 치명적일 수 있음), 낙석으로 인한 우발적 사망 등 주목할 만한 사건들이 발생했다는 점이다.[11] 2005년 스퀘어탑산 근처에서[12] 중상을 입은 배낭 여행객과 2006년 국가 수색과 구조 작업이 수반된 치명적인 등산객 사건도 있다.[13][14] 미국 산림청은 윈드 리버 산맥의 공식 사망자 수에 대한 업데이트된 집계 기록을 제공하지 않는다.
