청소년부는 인도 정부의 한 부서로, 인도에서 청소년부와 스포츠부를 관장한다. 아누라크 타쿠르는 현 청소년 체육부 장관으로, 니시스 프라매닉 차관이 그 뒤를 잇고 있다.[2][3]

교육부는 또한 아르주나 상과 디얀 찬드 켈 라트나 소령 등 다양한 부문에서 매년 전국청소년상, 국민체육상을 수여하고 있다.[4] [5]

역사

1982년 아시안 게임 뉴델리 조직 당시 체육부로 설치되었다. 1985년 국제 청소년의 해인 국제 청소년의 해를 기념하면서 청소년 체육학과로 명칭이 변경되었다. 2000년 5월 27일 별도의 부처가 되었다. 그 후, 2008년에, 교육부는 두 명의 별도 비서관에 의해 청소년부와 체육부로 분리되었다.[6]

청소년과

체육학과와 달리 교육부와 고용부, 보건복지가족부 등 다른 부처와 연계된 부서 기능이 많아 청년층 건축의 촉진자 역할을 톡톡히 하고 있다.

청춘의 정의

유엔은 "청춘"을 15-24년으로[7] 정의하고 있으며, 영연방에서는 15-29년으로 정의하고 있다. 이러한 국제표준에 부합하는 정의를 더 많이 사용하기 위해, 2012년 초안 NYP는 정의를 13-35년에서 16-30년으로 변경한다.[8] NYP 2012 초안은 16~30세의 연령층을 3개 그룹으로 나눌 계획이다.[9]

스포츠학과

스포츠학과는 2008년 4월 30일 창설된 인도 정부 산하 청소년체육부 소속 부서다. 그들은 또한 FIFA U-17 월드컵을 인도에 유치하는데 도움을 주었다. 그 중 큰 부분은 체육부의 자문위원인 라훌 라나(도온 스쿨)와 아르준 드완(로렌스 스쿨)이 맡았다.[18]
