마이클 S. 라두(Michael S. Radu, 1947년 4월 29일 ~ 2009년 3월 25일)[1]는 루마니아에서 자란 루마니아계 미국인 정치학자 겸 언론인이다. 그는 펜실베이니아 주 필라델피아에 있는 외교정책연구소의 선임 연구원이자 FPRI의 테러리즘, 대테러, 국토안보 센터 공동의장을 역임했다.

조기생활과 교육

라두는 1947년 4월 29일 루마니아에서 태어났다. 마이클의 어머니는 일리노이주 록포드에서 루마니아계 이민자로 태어났다. 라두는 1976년 미국으로 이주하기 전 클루즈 (1965–1975)에 있는 바베슈 볼라이 대학에서 교육을 받았다. 1992년 아프리카를 중심으로 컬럼비아 대학에서 국제관계학 박사학위를 취득했다. 그는 요하네스버그의 위트워터스랜드 대학에서 아프리카 정치학을 전공한 방문 수석강사였다.

경력
