Mais Lecture

매년 열리는 Mais 강의는 1978년부터 런던 대학 시티의 일부인 Bayes Business School(이전의 Cass)에 의해 개최되고 있습니다.

이 강의의 이름은 런던 시의 645대 시장인 메이스 경(1972–73년)과 시티 대학의 총장을 기리기 위해 붙여졌다.City University의 은행 및 금융 우수 센터를 설립하는 데 중요한 역할을 했습니다.이 센터는 현재 더 넓은 카스 금융학부의 일부입니다.

이번 강연은 역대 총리, 재무장관, 영국은행 총재 등 권위 있는 연사를 다수 초청해 런던시 금융계를 선도하는 행사로 평가받고 있다.

2021년 1월 그림자 재무장관인 Annelise Dodds MP는 Mais 강의를 한 최초의 여성이 되었다.
