역사

1972년부터 1978년까지 로스앤젤레스 카운티 보건부(현재의 보건부)는 신체, 정신, 공중 보건 서비스와 기능의 완전한 연속성을 제공했다.[8][9] 그러나, 1978년, 정신 건강 서비스에 대한 자금이 카운티 병원으로 전용되고 있다는 우려 속에, 군은 행동 건강 서비스를 제공하기 위해 정신 건강 부서를 설립했다.[5][10] 2006년에 보건부는 대규모 예산 적자가 발생하면서 보건부와 분리되었다.[10][5]
