로렌 키요미 윌리엄스(Lauren Kiyomi Williams, 1978년 출생)는 군집 알제브라, 열대 기하학, 대수학 결합학, 엠프리투헤드라, 양성 그라스만인에 관한 연구로 유명한 미국의 수학자다.[1]그녀는 하버드 대학의 드와이트 파커 로빈슨 수학 교수다.[2]
교육
윌리엄스의 아버지는 엔지니어다. 그녀의 어머니는 일본계 미국인 3세다.그녀는 4학년 수학 경시대회 우승으로 수학에 대한 관심이 불붙었던 로스앤젤레스에서 자랐다.[1]그녀는 1996년 팔로스 베르데스 반도 고등학교의 졸업생으로,[2] 매사추세츠 공과대학에서 궁극적인 조언자인 오카자키 사토미와 함께 여름 연구에 참여하였다. 스탠리.[1]그녀는 2000년에 하버드 대학교에서 수학 석사 학위를 받고 우등으로 졸업했으며,[2] 2005년에는 스탠리의 감독하에 매사추세츠 공과대학에서 박사학위를 받았다.[3]그녀의 논문은 총체적 긍정의 조합적 측면이라는 제목이 붙여졌다.

윌리엄스는 미국 캘리포니아대, 버클리대, 하버드대 박사후보를 거쳐 2009년 조교수로 버클리 수학과에 재입학했고, 2013년 부교수로, 2016년 전임교수로 승진했다.[2]
2018년 가을부터 하버드대 수학과에 정식 교수로 재입학해 역대 두 번째 하버드대 종신교수 자리에 올랐다.첫 번째, 소피 모렐은 2012년에 하버드를 떠났다.[4]
동료 O와 함께.만델스탐(그녀의 전 제자, 지금은 브라운대 조교수)과 S. Corteel, Williams는 2018년에 조합 배제 과정을 사용하여 대칭 및 비대칭 맥도날드 다항식의 새로운 특성을 개발했다.[5]
수상
2012년, 그녀는 미국 수학 협회의 창립 멤버 중 한 명이 되었다.[6]그녀는 2016년 수학여성협회와 마이크로소프트 대수·숫자 이론 연구상 수상자다.[7]
