L-1 Identity Solutions, Inc.는 코네티컷에 있는 미국의 대형 방산업체다.[1]2006년 8월 29일 바이세지 테크놀로지, 주식회사, Identix Incorporated의 합병으로 결성되었다.[2]얼굴 인식 시스템, 플라이 클리어 등 전자여권[3],[4] 기타 생체 인식 기술을 미국 사우디아라비아 등 정부에 전문적으로 판매한다.또 중국을 포함한 국제적으로 다른 기업에도 기술을 라이선스하고 있다.

2011년 7월 26일, Safran(NYSE Euronext Paris: SAF)은 L-1 Identity Solutions,[5] Inc.를 총 10억 9천만 달러에 인수했다.L-1은 현재 모포사의 모포트러스트 부서 소속이다.

바이오스크립트는 L-1 아이덴티티솔루션즈가 구매한 바이오메트릭스 연구·개발·제조업체다.물리적 접근 제어 시스템용 지문 IP 리더, 비접촉식 접근 제어 인증용 안면 인식 시스템 리더, 임베디드 애플리케이션용 OEM 지문 모듈 등을 제공한다.[6]IMS Research에 따르면 바이오스크립트는 전 세계 시장 점유율이 13%[7]를 넘는 기업(2006년 이후)을 대상으로 생체인식 접근 제어 분야에서 세계 시장 선두주자로 자리 잡고 있다.2011년 바이오스크립트는 Safran Morpho에 매각되었다.[8]
