김지희씨는 한국의 세종기지에서 종합적인 환경 감시와 장기 환경 데이터베이스 구축의 책임자로 가장 잘 알려진 남극 연구원이다.

초기 생활과 교육

김 씨는 1991년 목포대 생물학과 학사, 1993년 서울대 생물학과 석사, 2000년 [1]같은 대학에서 박사학위를 받았다.그녀는 박사과정을 마치기 전인 1998년 극지연구원에서 연구를 시작했다.그녀는 KOPRI [2]극지생태연구소의 핵심 멤버였다.

경력과 영향

김 씨는 KOPRI에서 많은 프로젝트를 이끌었으며, 특히 한국의 두 번째 남극기지인 장보고 기지가 건설된 후였다.김 씨는 적절한 장소를 물색하는 원정대의 핵심 멤버였고 이후 종합환경평가 [3]준비를 위한 수석 조사관이었다.그녀는 세종기지의 [1][4]환경 종합 감시 및 장기 환경 데이터베이스 구축 책임자이다.
