제임스 해밀턴 (대변인)

James Hamilton (barrister)

제임스 해밀턴(James Hamilton, 1949년 3월 20일생)은 아일랜드의 법정 변호사 겸 행정관으로 1999년부터 2011년까지 아일랜드 공화국 검찰국장(DPP)에서 검찰국장(Director of Iland)을 지냈다. 2010년 9월, 해밀턴은 프랑수아 팔레티의 뒤를 이어 국제검사협회 회장으로 선출되었다.[1][2]

해밀턴은 1999년 에몬 반스의 뒤를 이어 검찰국장이 되었다. 해밀턴은 검찰국장이 되기 전 실무 변호사였으며 아일랜드 법무장관실장을 지냈다.[3]

해밀턴은 2018년 당시 타나이스테 프란체스 피츠제럴드에 의해 제정된 아일랜드 법무부의 부정부패방지 및 부패방지 대책의 검토의장으로 임명되었다.[4]
