역사

이 의석은 2010년 총선을 위해 영국 경계위원회에 의해 에식스 주의회 의원들의 검토를 거쳐 만들어졌다.폐지된 노스 에식스 선거구의 대부분과 함께 이전에 폐지된 하리치 선거구의 일부였던 하리치 마을 및 주변 지역에서 형성되었으며, 나머지 하리치 선거구의 나머지 부분은 클락턴의 새로운 선거구를 만들었다.
