에릭 댄서

Eric Dancer

에릭 댄서 KCVO CBE KStJ(Eric Dancer KCVO KStJ, 1940년 4월 17일 출생)[1]는 영국의 사업가로 데본의 Lord-Liyutenant(Lord-Liyutenant)를 지낸 인물이다.

전기

댄서는 1940년 셰필드에서 태어났다. 그는 킹 에드워드 7세 학교 장학금을 받고 셰필드 폴리테크닉에 진학하여 차터드 경영대학과 차터드 구매 및 공급학원을 졸업하였다. 1980년 데본으로 이사한 후 그는 엑서터 대학에서 회사 지도의 졸업장을 받았다.

그의 경력은 산업계에 종사해 왔으며, 그 중 지난 20년은 그가 2000년에 은퇴하기 전 다틴튼 크리스탈의 전무이사였다.

He was the founding Chairman of Devon and Cornwall Training and Enterprise Council, the TEC National Council, the West Country Development Corporation, served as a National TEC Assessor, Advisor to the Secretary of State for Employment, Member of the National Training Task Force, Member of the Councils of the CBI and Royal Society of Arts and as 플리머스 대학교의 주지사

He is a Freeman of the City of London, Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Glass Sellers, Life Member of the Royal Society of Arts, President, Patron or Trustee of some 20 Charities in Devon, Chairman of the Magistrates Advisory Committee for Devon and Cornwall and Devon County President of The Reserve Forces and Cadets.

댄서는 아내 캐롤과 함께 사우스 데본에 살고 있으며, 지금은 비행하는 경항공기, 글라이더, 항해를 포기하고 음악, 독서, 시사, 세계 여행을 즐기며 7대륙을 모두 방문했다.

에릭 댄서 경은 플리머스 대학교에서 명예 경영학 박사, 엑서터 대학교에서 명예 법학박사 학위를 받았다.[6]
