엘라포미세스('deer truffles')는 엘라포미케테스과(Elaphomycetae과의 속칭이다. 널리 퍼진 속은 25종의 트러플과 같은 종을 포함하고 있다.[2] 엘라포미스테스는 온대 및 아북극 산림 생태계에서 가장 중요한 ectomycorrhizal fungal genera 중 하나이다.[3] E. asperulus, E. granulatus, E. muricatus가 비소(건질량 12–660mg/kg)를 축적하는 것으로 조사되었으며, 유기화물의 구성은 매우 특이하며, 주요 As 화합물로 메틸아르손산과 트리미틸아르신 산화물 등이 있다.[4]
