드라비다 브라만스(또는 단순히 드라비둘루)는 남인안드라프라데시 주의 텔루구 브라만족의 서브캐스터로, 역사적으로 타밀나두에서 이주한 인물이다.[1]

기원

라자라자 나렌드라 통치 기간 동안 몇 명의 타밀 브라만 가문이 안드라 프라데시의 다른 지역에 정착했다.[2]안드라프라데시에 정착한 이 타밀 브라만족은 드라비다 브라만족으로 알려져 있다.[3][4]

분류

이들은 인도브라만 공동체의 판차 드라비다 브라만 분류에 속한다.[5]드라비다 브라만족은 여러 하위섹트로 나뉘는데, 이들이 정착한 장소로는 아라라마 드라비둘루, 푸두르 드라비둘루, 코나세마 드라비둘루, 페루루루 드라비둘루, 툼마군타 드라비둘루, 디밀리 드라비둘루 등이 있다.[6][7]
