초년기

법적분쟁

세이드먼은 2014년 요거트 제조업체인 조바니와 광고 대행사인 드로가5를 상대로 "How Matters"라는 주제로 같은 해 진행되는 광고 캠페인이 세이드먼이 법적으로 보유하고 있는 상표를 침해했다며 소송을 제기했다.[22][23][1] 2017년 시드먼은 조바니가 'How Matters' 상표권 신청을 철회하자 법정 밖에서 소송을 해결했다.[24]

2016년 3월 시드먼과 LRN은 책 'How'의 소속사 윌리엄 모리스 엔데버 엔터테인먼트를 상대로 신탁 의무 위반 소송을 제기했다.[25] 2017년 세이드만과 LRN은 3건의 소송을 모두 해결했다.[24][26][27]

2019년 세이드만, LRN 등 2명의 이사진이 LRN 주주들에게 신탁 의무를 위반했다는 이유로 주주로부터 소송을 당했다.[28]

수상 및 수상
